Corporate Communications
The Corporate Communications Department will be responsible for the day to day handling of QFCRA communication matters, including press relations, public relations and the issuing of all informational material by the Regulatory Authority. Applications are now invited from media, advertising and public relations professionals with substantial corporate communications experience including news management, publishing and government relations. Ideally a bi-lingual (Arabic/English) media relations and e-communications specialist with experience of handling high profile corporate communications projects including news managements, drafting articles and speeches, handling interviews, writing background and briefing documents and advising senior management on external relations and communications matters.

Operations
The Operations Department is responsible of ensuring that the working premises are sufficient and appropriate to meet the business need while providing a safe and productive working environment. The Department is led by the Head of Operations who reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
1. Head of Operations
This role will assist the Chief Operating Officer by managing the operations, facilities and support services staff; and providing management of key processes and projects. The key areas of responsibility are as below:
- Manage the premises shift to the offices of the integrated regulator
- Transportation Systems
- Security Systems
- Implementation of Health & Safety Systems
- General Operations Housing and Real Estate
2. Front Desk Administrator
The Front Desk Administrator is responsible to answer multi-line telephone-system and take messages or refer calls to the appropriate person, assist in any clerical duties as necessary.

Authorisation
The Authorisation and Regulatory Services Division is responsible for assessing and approving applications from firms and individuals seeking authorisation from the QFC Regulatory Authority to conduct Regulated Activities in the QFC. Further to this core function, this Division also administers the application process for Non-Regulated Activities on behalf of the QFC Authority.
1. Administrator, Authorisation
The Administrator will be primarily engaged in providing administrative assistance to the staff of the Division. The employee is required to work flexibly, in a rapidly developing office environment. It may be necessary to assist, or cover for, other administrative staff from time to time. In performing the role, the highest standards of accuracy, presentation and confidentiality are required. Secretary
Provide administrative support to senior managers and assist in the coordination of departmental projects. Responsibilities include managing electronic calendars, drafting correspondence, filing, conducting research, transcribing verbal notes, and general secretarial support.
This position requires 5 years of experience as a secretary and excellent written skills in addition to fluency in English. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Case Officer (GFP)
The QFC Regulatory Authority has established a prestigious one-year Fellowship Programme for exceptional Qatari Nationals.
The purpose of the Fellowship Programme is to provide gifted and highly motivated young Qatari men and women with first-hand experience in the process of operating and managing a world-class regulatory organisation and personal involvement in the development of the QFC.
Successful applicants will be employed full time by the QFC Regulatory Authority and will receive first-class, hands-on experience in regulatory practices in various QFC Regulatory Authority functions such as Policy Development, Authorisation, Supervision and Legal and Regulatory Compliance.
