The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) has published a Consultation Paper and accompanying draft rules containing miscellaneous amendments to the existing rulebooks. The proposed rules are available in full on the QFCRA website.

The proposed amendments deal with professional indemnity insurance, signing off approved individual forms and making the Qatar Financial Centre and Qatar equivalent to zone 1 jurisdictions.

The consultation period for responses is open until 21 January 2010.
