Mrs Fatma Abdulrahman Al Meer
Director of Finance

Mrs Al Meer began her career in finance in January 2010 as a grad-
uate trainee at the Regulatory Authority. She joined the Regulatory
Authority as a Finance Associate later that year, moving to Senior
Associate in 2012. In 2014, Mrs Al Meer was appointed Head of
Finance, responsible for budget control, management analysis
and procurement, and serving as the Regulatory Authority’s key
liaison with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Administrative
Development, Labour & Social Affairs. She was appointed to her
current position in 2016.
Mrs Al Meer is a graduate of Leeds University in the UK with a Bach-
elor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. She is currently pursuing
professional qualifications in Accounting from the Chartered Insti-
tute of Management Accountants (CIMA), having obtained a
CIMA Certificate of Business Accounting and a CIMA Diploma in
Management Accounting. In 2014, Mrs Al Meer received the high-
est marks in Qatar on her CIMA - Operational Level exam.
