IOSCO’s 49th Annual Meeting IOSCO’s Africa and Middle East

Regional Committee
The QFCRA participated in the 49th IOSCO

Annual Meeting, which took place from 26 – 28 The QFCRA participated in the IOSCO AMERC

May in Athens, Greece under the organisation meeting held in Mauritius between 20 - 21

The QFCRA participated in the meetings of the

following three committee meetings: Africa/Middle IOSCO’s Growth and Emerging Markets
East Regional Committee (AMERC), Growth and Committee

Emerging Markets Committee (GEMC), and Multilateral

Memorandum of Understanding Monitoring Group The QFCRA participated in the IOSCO GEMC

(MMoU MG). Additionally, the QFCRA attended the meeting held in Ankara, Türkiye between
President’s Committee, a committee composed of 18 – 19 December, under the organisation

all the Presidents (Chairs) of ordinary and associate of the Capital Markets Board, Türkiye.

IOSCO members that meets once a year during the

Annual Conference and discusses the work and key
developments concerning securities regulators. Supervisory Colleges

QFCRA’s Chair at IOSCO The QFCRA attended two supervisory colleges organised
by Deutsche Bank and the Union Bank of Switzerland.

In 2024, the QFCRA’s Investment Manager, Advisor

and Securities Supervision department Director

was named Chair of IOSCO’s AMERC Working
Group for Capital Markets Development.
