Super User Group

The Super User Group (SUG) is an initiative launched by the QFCRA’s Financial Analysis and Innovation

(FAI) team. The primary objective of the SUG is to enable employees to harness their expertise
and create solutions that benefit their teams and divisions. This collaborative endeavor focuses

on upskilling members in data concepts and key data tools used within the QFCRA. By fostering

a cross-departmental think tank, the SUG aims to equip supervisors with both theoretical and

practical knowledge to handle their daily data-related tasks effortlessly. This initiative is part of a
broader effort to cultivate a data-driven culture and encourage innovation within the organisation.

In 2024, the SUG concentrated on building a solid data foundation by exploring topics such as

data quality, data structures, and fundamental machine learning knowledge. The group’s sessions
emphasise user-driven solutions and AI developments, reflecting the rapid progression in technology

and artificial intelligence. The SUG’s commitment to innovation and skill-building aligns with the 3FSS

cross-cutting themes of Talent and Capabilities and Digital Innovation and Advanced Technologies.
