BUILDING HUMAN CAPITAL
The Policy and Legislative Counsel departments of the Regulatory
Authority hosted many learning and development, work experi-
ence and information sharing opportunities during 2016. A Kawader
intern spent five weeks in the departments learning about the leg-
islative drafting function, and the departments continued to build
on their longstanding relationship with Qatar University’s Faculty
of Law through delivery of an internship programme for Qatari
undergraduates.
In 2016, six Qatar University undergraduates benefited from intern-
ships at the Regulatory Authority, learning about core business
activities ranging from bank supervision to investment manage-
ment to insurance supervision.
