            CORPORATE SERVICES


            A new strategy


            In 2016, the Corporate Services division, including the Corporate
            Communications, Human Resources, Translation, Organisational
            Development, Office of the General Counsel, Operations and
            Information Technology departments, embarked upon a new strat-
            egy envisioned to drive the division to a new phase of continuous
            improvement.
            With operational excellence at the heart of the division, key objec-
            tives revolved around the standardisation and streamlining of
            processes and policies, the adoption of best practice in areas of
            new development, the growth of the Al Masar learning and devel-
            opment programme, and driving a culture intent upon creating the
            very best organisational support services in Qatar and the region.

            WOW is the name of the new Corporate Services division strategy,
            as well as an acronym that stands for the divisional values: Wel-
            coming culture, Outstanding practices, and Wealth of Innovation.
            Three WOW goals and objectives provide the indicators against
            which Corporate Services teams now measure their progress:
            •   To achieve international accreditation, recognition or an indus-
                try award within three years;
            •   To create a notable customer satisfaction index within three
                years;
            •   To create a platform of innovation for organisational efficiencies.
