In turn, the QFCRA provides the following opportunities to Qatari nationals:

Internship Programme:

The QFCRA offers internship opportunities to high-performing high school, university and post-graduate students to work in a professional environment.

We work closely with select local schools and universities to identify high-potential candidates interested in careers in the financial sector. These include:

Tawjeeh

Tawjeeh is a visionary national development initiative dedicated to cultivating a new generation of globally competitive financial sector professionals. Designed to accelerate leadership readiness and technical expertise, Tawjeeh empowers Qatari talent through a structured blend of collaborative learning, expert guidance and mentorship.

Financial Regulator Development Programme:

The Financial Regulator Development Programme is a comprehensive, experiential, and competency-based initiative created to prepare the next generation of leaders in Qatar’s financial regulation sector. Spanning over the course of 12 months, the programme combines technical training with professional and leadership development, reinforced through practice-based assessments and a Capstone Project presented to senior leadership. The programme has been designed by the QFCRA is co-delivered in collaboration with Intuition, a global learning provider, and Human Development Solutions, ensuring both international best practices and local relevance.

The QFCRA offers tailored national and international secondments to employees who have progressed through the five stages of Al Masar, ensuring that they’re equipped with the knowledge and understanding of best practices at the local, regional and international levels.  

Opportunities for Further Studies:

The QFCRA supports Qatari employees to pursue further studies in line with business needs.

These initiatives all fall under Al Masar. Al Masar is the QFCRA’s five-stage award winning nationalisation programme designed to develop Qatari for careers in financial regulation. Each stage sets out clear milestones which are brought to life through coaching, knowledge sharing, mentoring and professional training. In 2017, Al Masar was the  Best Nationalisation Initiative at the HR MENA Excellence Awards.
