The Economic Research and Data Analytics department is responsible for assessing and analysing key global, regional and domestic macroeconomic, financial and political developments and trends, as well as relevant international regulatory and infrastructural developments. The impact of these developments and trends on financial stability globally, regionally and domestically is assessed and communicated to the QFCRA’s Board and staff, as well as to the State of Qatar’s Financial Stability and Risk Control Committee (FSC) in conjunction with the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA).
