Al Masar Nationalisation Programme

Al Masar, or “The Path”, is the QFCRA’s career development programme and directly supports the Human Development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030, which recognises people as the nation’s most valuable resource. Through engaging, enriching and helping our Qatari employees envision their futures, the programme contributes to developing skilled, capable national talent and building a lasting legacy of competent regulators in Qatar.

The five-stage development programme focuses on strengthening talent from within the organisation by defining individual career paths, supporting workforce development, and enabling Qatari employees to contribute confidently to Qatar’s long-term knowledge-based growth.

In 2017, Al Masar was awarded the Best Nationalisation Initiative at the HR MENA Excellence Awards, recognising its role in advancing national talent development.

The following are the four programmes offered within the Nationalisation Programme:

Tawjeeh is a visionary national development initiative dedicated to cultivating a new generation of globally competitive financial sector professionals. Designed to accelerate leadership readiness and technical expertise, Tawjeeh empowers Qatari talent through a structured blend of collaborative learning, expert guidance and mentorship.

QFCRA offers tailored national and international secondment opportunities for Qatari employees to strengthen their knowledge of local, regional, and international best practices. The Secondment Programme supports Qatari nationals in building experience, exposure, and professional confidence through placements with leading institutions.

National and International Secondments

Financial Regulator Development Programme a 12-month, competency-based programme designed to develop future leaders in Qatar’s financial regulation sector. It combines technical, professional, and leadership development with practical assessments and a Capstone Project presented to senior leadership.

Hawiyatna is an annual Al Masar gathering for Qatari employees that promotes connection, engagement, and professional development. It provides a platform to exchange ideas, discuss initiatives, and strengthen collaboration across teams while celebrating employees’ contributions and supporting the development of national talent.
